Rainham Marshes: Pectoral Sandpiper on target pools c13.35.Barking Creek: Adult Iceland Gull (at creek mouth then on filter beds), 1st summer Med. Gull, c.40 Common, 1 Black and 2 Arctic Terns - most of terns flying upriver.London Wetland Centre: 3 Kittiwake NE, 3 Dunlin - 2 west & 1 grounded, female Blue-headed Wagtail.Staines Reservoirs: 1 Great Northern Diver summer plumage early am at least. Little Tern and 7 Arctic Terns.

 Wormwood Scrubs: 1 female Ring Ouzel in Central Copse, 1 Nightingale briefly singing.

GALLIONS REACH UPDATE

Today I was totally blown away when two of the local birders started jumping up and down and waving so being at the other end of Gallions reach I just got my gear and started running.I arrived and said what have you got and the answer was PUFFIN.I scope it straight away and watched it drift upriver. My london list is now. (274)
