LONDON NEWS
Beddington: 1 Whimbrel, 1 Red Kite, 1 Hobby (first for
year), 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 1 Swift (first for year), 30+ Swallow N,
1 Sedge Warbler (first for year), 6 Reed Warbler, 10 Whitethroat, 15
Blackcap, 9 Wheatear, 1 Pheasant (BFBG, Peter Alfrey). (Cackling Goose

Brent Reservoir: Today is our annual dawn-to-dusk Spring Birdcount Day. Total at 16.40: 74 species.. Great White Egret east 09.12, also singing Nightingale North Marsh, Bar-tailed Godwit over 08.02, 3 Little Ringed Plovers, Common Sandpiper, Cetti's Warbler, Peregrine, Hobby & Common Buzzard over at 15.05.Walthamstow:Lockwood WHIMBREL (KJM).
